The company Grit Blasting Equipment sales was established 10 years ago by Madelyn Blommestyn.

The company officially opened its doors to do business on the 28 th February 1996. Madelyn proudly stated that within the first month of business they achieved sales of R8 000.00.

The company started with two helpers and together they have built up the business to where it is today.

Madelyn stated that the company specialized in equipment for the sand blasting corrosion market and bought most of the equipment from other suppliers. At a later stage, Madelyn continued to explain, the company was appointed as the agent for Afrigrit, who are the suppliers of the sand blasting sand. The company was allocated the Gauteng , Sasolburg and Pretoria areas by Afrigrit.
