The short version is that JK Transport is into moving and maintenance, but there's a lot more to it than meets the eye.

While the company used to deal with the general repairing of in our maintenance section, it was not possible to carry on in this trend when the transport side of the business picked up speed, and fast. It was then a natural progression to rather concentrate on our own fleet's maintenance. While this may be so, JK also applied this to the fork lifters that are not only our own property but those used at contracts as well.

As mentioned, the transport side seemed to overtake the maintenance section so it was a natural flow to rather concentrate on the former. If anything needs to be moved, JK can pull up and assist with a wide range of trucks from eight to 12 to even 24 tonners. Anything in-between or over and above is not a problem, and a vehicle will be sourced to transport what is required.

Which is where the brokerage side of things comes in. Any prospective, or existing client will receive a visit from the company to determine exactly what is needed to get the goods on the road. From then, it's a matter of sorting out the paper work before the open road and destination lies ahead.

Goods are also transported across the border to Lesotho, Botswana and Swaziland. JK will handle everything for the client and make sure that customers are kept up to date with the progression of the goods being transported, no matter how big or small they may be.

At the moment, the majority of items being wheeled to destinations are paper and ceiling boards, but this is merely a part of what we are capable of moving for customers.

JK Transport is into moving and maintenance!!!
